Diversity Visa Available NOW

The Department of State has announced the availability of up to 55,000 Diversity Visas (DVs) for fiscal year 2025. The DV program is a visa lottery that does not require a family member or employer in the United States to qualify.

Currently, the following countries are NOT eligible for the program:
ï‚· Bangladesh
ï‚· Brazil
ï‚· Canada
 The People’s Republic of China (including mainland and Hong Kong-born),
ï‚· Colombia
ï‚· Dominican Republic
ï‚· El Salvador
 Haití
ï‚· Honduras
ï‚· India
ï‚· Jamaica
ï‚· Mexico
ï‚· Nigeria
ï‚· Pakistan
ï‚· Philippines
ï‚· Republic of Korea (South Korea)
ï‚· Venezuela
ï‚· and Vietnam

All other countries are eligible, including Macau SAR and Taiwan. Even if you are from an ineligible country, you may qualify if your spouse is from an eligible country or if your parents were not born or legally residing in the ineligible country at the time of your birth.

Each applicant must meet certain education and work requirements. The applicant must either have at least a high school education or its equivalent or have two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience to perform.

The Department of State is currently accepting applicants through November 7, 2023. Applications can be submitted at dvprogram.state.gov.
