MRC Event at Maizal – Staten Island

Is it possible to have a great evening at a fine restaurant with your family or friends AND help immigrants and other low-income New Yorkers at the same time? Yes, it is! Here’s how…

Step 1:

Use the link below to indicate your commitment to dine at Maizal on December 5. This is critical. If the minimum number of committed diners don’t sign up by the deadline, the event will automatically be canceled. They have to know you intend to be there.

Dec 5, 5:00 -9:00 pm – https://www.groupraise.com/events/45117

Step 2:

On December 5, enjoy the food and ambiance at Maizal. Maizal is a family owned restaurant featuring authentic Mexican cuisine from Puebla, Mexico. Opened in 2010, Maizal offers a unique dining experience to the Staten Island community, and quickly became one of the hottest local venues for dinner with friends and family or a quick drink at our bar. To see menus or make reservations, visit Maizal’s website: http://maizalrestaurant.com/index.php/staten/

Step 3:

Tell your food server that you’re there to support “Migration Resource Center.” Follow their instructions and Maizal will donate 20% of your meal’s price (excluding tax and alcohol) to Migration Resource Center.

That’s it! You get delicious and authentic Mexican food. AND you help immigrants and other low-income people get the legal assistance, education, and support services they need to be able to live, work, and contribute to our community. It’s a Win-Win!
