Past and Present Cocktail Party Fundraiser at Alice Austen House Going On August 5 2017

Join us for a lovely cocktail party at the Alice Austen House. Alice Austen (1866 – 1952) was one of America’s earliest and most prolific female photographers, and over the course of her life she captured about 8,000 images. Come see her work, including the pictures she took of immigrants at Ellis Island’s quarantine camps, while enjoying cocktails or wine on a nice summer evening on the lawn of the waterfront house. We will also have a raffle and distinguished guest speakers; more details are to come! If you are not able to attend this event but would like to donate to Migration Resource Center, a 501c3 organization that provides low cost legal services and representation to immigrants seeking to regularize their status in the United States, we welcome any contributions. For organizations or individuals seeking to sponsor this event or for those with other questions about this event, please contact us at [email protected] or (646) 609-8805.
